New Student Orientation
The New Student Checklist is a comprehensive guide for incoming students. It provides a list of all tasks that must be completed by an incoming student before their first day of classes. Under each task, you will find a detailed explanation of how to complete each requirement and a point of contact to reach out to if you have any challenges while completing it.
New students will learn about academic, spiritual, and student life while building connections with peers, upper-class student leaders, and PC staff during their mandatory First Day in Friartown program. Students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and develop their fall academic schedule. Parents and families are invited to participate in a concurrent program
Pre-Orientation programs allow new students to make connections and gain familiarity with campus resources. We offer 5 Pre-Orientation themes, each allow you to make friends and engage with a shared interest in a small cohort.
Fall Orientation begins directly following move-in. Students meet new friends, experience signature social programming, participate in educational workshops, connect with faculty, and learn about Providence College traditions.
